Description: On December 6, 2000, the TCEQ adopted a rule to restrict heavy-duty diesel construction equipment rated at 50 horsepower or more from operating from 6:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m., April 1 through October 31, beginning April 1, 2005.
In September 2001, this rule was repealed and replaced by the Texas Emission Reduction Plan (TERP).
