Notice of Public Comment Period and Public Meetings on TERP Guidelines for the Diesel Emissions Reduction Incentive Program and New Drayage Truck Incentive Program
The TCEQ is offering an opportunity for written and oral public comments on the Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP) Diesel Emissions Reduction Incentive Program (DERI program) guidelines entitled Texas Emissions Reduction Plan: Guidelines for Emissions Reduction Incentive Grants (ERIG) (TCEQ publication RG-388) and the new Drayage Truck Incentive Program (DTIP) Guidelines (TCEQ publication RG-524).
The DERI program guidelines have been revised to include statutory changes from Senate Bill (SB) 1727 enacted by the 83rd Texas Legislature, 2013, Regular Session.
The DTIP guidelines implement the new Drayage Truck Incentive Program (DTIP) established by SB 1727 to provide grants for replacement of drayage trucks operating at seaports and rail yards located in the state’s nonattainment areas. The DTIP is established in Texas Health and Safety Code, Chapter 386, Subchapter D-1.
