** Note: In order to convert from Universal Time Code subtract six hours for converting from UTC to Central Standard Time (CST).
Subtract five hours for converting from UTC to Central Daylight Time (CDT).
GOES satellites are continuous monitoring satellites that circle the Earth in a geosynchronous orbit and provide meteorological and atmospheric data.
