DRAFT PERMIT NO.: O2800

APPLICATION AND DRAFT PERMIT. KANEKA NORTH AMERICA LLC, 6161 UNDERWOOD RD, PASADENA, TX 77507-1033, has applied to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for a minor revision of its existing Federal Operating Permit (herein referred to as Permit) No. O2800, Application No. 22174 to authorize operation of the KANEKA PASADENA SITE, a Plastics Materials facility. The area addressed by this application is located at 6161 UNDERWOOD RD in PASADENA, HARRIS County, Texas. This application was submitted to the TCEQ on December 01, 2014.

The purpose of a federal operating permit is to improve overall compliance with the rules governing air pollution control by clearly listing all applicable requirements, as defined in Title 30 Texas Administrative Code (30 TAC) § 122.10. The permit, if approved, will codify the revised conditions under which the area must operate. The permit will not authorize new construction. The TCEQ executive director has completed the technical review of this application and prepared a draft permit. The executive director recommends issuance of this permit.
