- Regulation of Oil and Gas Construction Activities
under EPA's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) for Stormwater - Water Rights–Any activity intending to divert, impound, take or use surface water, or begin construction for the above-listed activities must be permitted by the TCEQ prior to commencement.

- Dam Safety–When a person proposes to conduct certain activities near a dam, the owner of the dam or our executive director may request that the person have a professional engineer perform an evaluation to determine if the integrity of the dam would be compromised.
