Waste Designation Decision Matrix - Acute Hazardous Wastes

"Acute hazardous wastes" are considered especially
harmful even in small quantities. Examples are cyanides,
pesticides, and other strong toxins. Most businesses rarely
generate acutely hazardous wastes, but if you do, please
note:
Any generation greater than one kilogram (2.2 lbs) in a calendar month subjects you to being classified as a Large Quantity Generator.
