Stakeholder Meeting about a Plan to Protect Recreational Safety in Austin Area Watersheds

At this meeting of the Coordination Committee, stakeholders will discuss progress on developing their plan to reduce bacteria and protect recreational safety in Waller, Walnut, and Shoal creeks and Taylor Slough in the city of Austin. Anyone interested in the project is invited to attend. The stakeholders and TCEQ are developing total maximum daily loads (TMDLs) and an implementation plan (I-Plan), which together will provide the road map for improving water quality.

The purpose of this meeting of the Coordination Committee is to discuss progress so far and determine next steps in the project to reduce bacteria levels and protect recreational safety in the waters of Armand Bayou.
