The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has scheduled stakeholder meetings to receive comment on potential revisions to Stage I testing requirements and methods for petroleum storage tanks' vapor recovery systems.

The purpose of this meeting is to begin forming a stakeholder group that will evaluate progress on the original Implementation Plan approved in 2007 to reduce salts in this segment of the river. Staff members from the Upper Colorado River Authority and the TCEQ will give an overview about progress made so far in improving conditions in the river. Stakeholders and project staff will then discuss the progress and the next steps forward. Stakeholders who participated in developing the plan for this river segment are invited and encouraged to attend, along with anyone interested in joining this effort.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss progress to date on development of a plan to improve water quality at Cole and Ropes beaches. Anyone interested in the project is welcome to attend. There will be time set aside for public comments towards the end of the meeting.

The TCEQ's Office of the Chief Clerk will facilitate a Public Meeting on the Gonzales County Underground Water Conservation District's District Petition, Internal Control No. D-02192013-021, on Thursday, June 6, 2013, in Gonzales, Texas.

At this meeting of the Coordination Committee, stakeholders will discuss progress on developing their plan to reduce bacteria and protect recreational safety in Waller, Walnut, and Shoal creeks and Taylor Slough in the city of Austin. Anyone interested in the project is invited to attend. The stakeholders and TCEQ are developing total maximum daily loads (TMDLs) and an implementation plan (I-Plan), which together will provide the road map for improving water quality.
