This meeting is being held to begin organizing a group of people who will formulate a plan to reduce bacteria in four streams in the Austin metropolitan area. The watersheds include portions of Walnut Creek, Waller Creek, the Spicewood Tributary to Shoal Creek, and Taylor Slough South.

The commission will hold a public hearing on this proposal in Austin on December 4, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in Building E, Room 201S, at the commission's central office located at 12100 Park 35 Circle.

The purpose of this meeting is to tell people about the progress on the TMDL and get their feedback. Everyone is invited and welcome to attend.

The TCEQ's Office of the Chief Clerk will facilitate a Public Meeting on Chappell Hill Service Company, LLC's Proposed New Municipal Wastewater Permit No. WQ0015031001 on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, in Chappell Hill, Texas.

The State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH) will conduct a formal Contested Case Hearing on Sharps Environmental Services, Inc.'s Proposed Amendment to Air Quality Permit No. 77002 on January 7, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in Austin, Texas.

The TCEQ's Office of the Chief Clerk will facilitate a Public Meeting on Partner's Dewatering International, LLC's Proposed Municipal Solid Waste Registration Application No. 43033 on Thursday, January 17, 2012, in Rio Hondo, Texas.

The State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH) will conduct a formal Contested Case Hearing on El Paso Electric Company's Proposed Air Quality Permit No. 102294 and Prevention of Significant Deterioration Air Quality Permit No. PSDTX1290 on January 22, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in El Paso, Texas.

At this meeting, we will begin building the coordination committee for the Armand Bayou I-Plan and its operational rules and structure. Presentations will cover information about water quality in Armand Bayou and how local stakeholders can participate in the processes for developing the TMDL and Implementation Plan.

The State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH) will conduct a formal Contested Case Hearing on the City of Levelland's Proposed Permit No. 2369 to Construct and Operate a Type I AE and Type IV AE Municipal Solid Waste Landfill on January 28, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in Austin, Texas.

This summit will increase public awareness on: the value of water in our everyday lives, the facts on where the water comes from, the importance of water conservation efforts, and how these efforts can make a difference.

You are invited to participate in a meeting to update stakeholders about a plan for reducing bacteria and making recreation safer in area waterways.

The goal of this plan is to reduce bacteria and protect people's safe use of Waller, Walnut, and Shoal creeks and Taylor Slough in the city of Austin. If you use these streams, or live or work in their watersheds, please consider participating. At this meeting, the Coordination Committee will begin forming work groups for specific tasks.

Stakeholders are invited to join representatives from the TCEQ and Nueces River Authority to review progress toward keeping the creek clean and safe for humans and aquatic species. At this meeting, we will also begin a review of the I-Plan developed in 2007 to determine whether it should be updated.
