San Angelo Oil & Gas Local Government Workshop
Texas Department of Transportation San Angelo District Office
Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) in conjunction with the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) will be hosting a series of FREE Oil and Gas Workshops for Local Governments. The workshops are designed to provide local governments with information on jurisdictional authority between the TCEQ & RRC as well as an overview of air, water and waste rules that apply to the oil and gas industry. Additionally, TCEQ staff will provide information on compliance assistance available to local governments who may be seeing the impact of increased activity on resources such as drinking water systems, wastewater treatment plants and landfill capacity. TCEQ and RRC staff subject matter experts will be available after the presentations and can address specific technical questions.
