Public Meeting about a Plan to Protect Recreation in the San Jacinto River
City of Cleveland – Civic Center, 210 Peach Street, Cleveland
The TCEQ and the H-GAC are hosting three meetings in July to kick off a new project. The goal of this project is to reduce bacteria levels in parts of the San Jacinto River, making it safer for recreation. All stakeholders are invited to get involved in developing the strategy to improve water quality. The meeting is open to everyone.

The goal of this project is to make the river cleaner by reducing the levels of chloride, sulfate, and dissolved solids. At this public meeting, the Coordination Committee will aim to set its ground rules and start the formation of work groups. Anyone interested in the project is welcome to attend.
