Analyses by the TCEQ to determine the critical tasks for a licensed occupation.
To develop exam questions and curriculum guidance, the TCEQ conducts analysis to determine the critical tasks required for a licensed occupation. job tasks are ranked using a survey of licensed individuals, and adjusted to determine critical tasks by a group of subject matter experts. Currently the TCEQ has conducted job-task analyses on the Customer Service Inspector, Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester, Wastewater Treatment and Collection, Groundwater Treatment, and Water Distribution licenses.
