TCEQ approves fines totaling $411,578

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $411,578 against 28 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.
Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: six air quality, one industrial hazardous waste, one industrial waste discharge, five municipal waste discharge, three public water system, and one water quality.
In addition, default orders were issued for the following categories: one multimedia, two municipal solid waste, four petroleum storage tank, two public water system, and one water quality. One petroleum storage tank default and shutdown order was also issued.
