The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $227,878 against 17 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.
Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: Five air quality, one industrial waste discharge, four municipal waste discharge, four petroleum storage tank, and two public water system.
Penalties were also assessed in one public water system case following hearings from the State Office of Administrative Hearings.
