TCEQ Approves Fines Totaling $336,433

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $282,208 against 26 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.

Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: six air quality, three municipal wastewater discharge, one petroleum storage tank, 13 public water system, and one water quality.

Default orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: one petroleum storage tank and one public water system.

In addition, on February 27, the executive director approved a total of 24 penalties, totaling $54,225.
