Air PBRs of Subchapter S

Air permits by rule for equipment, facilities, or operations related to surface coating.

Air PBR 106.431: Milling and Grinding of Coatings and Molding Compounds

Equipment used exclusively to mill or grind coatings and molding compounds where all materials charged are in a paste form is permitted by rule under 30 TAC Section 106.431. No registration or recordkeeping is required.

Air PBR 106.432: Dipping Tanks and Containers

Dipping operations and the containers, reservoirs, or tanks used in them are permitted by rule if they meet the conditions stated in 30 TAC Sections 106.4 and 106.432. No registration or fee is required. Recordkeeping requirements are discussed.

Air PBR 106.433: Surface Coat Facility

Surface coating or stripping facilities, excluding vehicle repair and refinishing shops, that meet the conditions stated in 30 TAC Section 106.433 are permitted by rule.

Air PBR 106.434: Powder Coating Facility

Surface-coating operations that use powder coating materials with the powder applied by an electrostatic powder spray gun or an electrostatic fluidized bed are permitted by rule under 30 TAC Section 106.434. No registration or record keeping is required.

Air PBR 106.435: Classic or Antique Automobile Restoration Facility

Classic or antique automobile restoration facilities are permitted by rule if they meet the conditions stated in 30 TAC Sections 106.4 and 106.435. No registration or fee is required. Record-keeping requirements are discussed.

Air PBR 106.436: Auto Body Refinishing Facility

Facilities used for the repair or refinishing of vehicle bodies, body parts, or chassis are permitted by rule if they meet the conditions stated in 30 TAC Sections 106.4 and 106.436.
