The 130 Environmental Park landfill is a proposed Type I Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) disposal facility that would be owned and operated by 130 Environmental Park LLC.

Application Overview

130 Environmental Park, LLC applied for a permit to authorize the construction and operation of the landfill. The permit would authorize:

  • a permitted area of 520 acres, of which 202 acres would be the waste disposal area;
  • a waste disposal unit reaching a maximum permitted height 736 feet above mean sea level (approximately 160 feet above the surrounding land surface) with a total volume available for waste disposal of 33.1 million cubic yards; and
  • reusable material staging areas, a citizen collection center, leachate storage, large item storage, used/scrap tire storage, truck wheel wash, and wood waste processing.
