If You Do Not Have an Approved Pretreatment Program and the TCEQ Discovers Problems
Possible requirements of publicly owned treatment works (POTWs) for a non-approved TPDES wastewater pretreatment program if there are problems.
If the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) discovers that wastewater discharges from commercial and industrial facilities have caused interference
or pass through, especially if the violation is likely to happen again, the TCEQ may require you to develop and enforce local limits and other elements of an approved pretreatment program.
