Pretreatment Stakeholder Group

A voluntary group that offers advice to the TCEQ on developing and implementing regulations for pretreatment of industrial wastewater discharged into a domestic wastewater collection system or directly to a publicly owned wastewater treatment plant.


The public or anyone  interested in pretreatment rules and regulations may attend and participate in the stakeholder meetings.The group is made up of representatives from cities, utilities and other entities interested in pretreatment issues. It includes representation from water associations, engineering firms, law firms, environmental organizations, consumer groups, and government entities.
