Sunset legislation passed by the 82nd Legislature requires us to evaluate all river basins that do not have a watermaster program. Done once every five years, each evaluation will address whether there is a need to appoint a watermaster in that basin.

At this meeting, we will discuss our preliminary evaluation of the Brazos and Colorado areas. We would also like to hear questions and other input from the public, including water-right holders and domestic and livestock users.
