Stabilizing Excavated Soil
All soil excavated from the neighborhood was consolidated at a vacant lot, where it was stabilized by mixing it with Portland cement. Stabilization prevents contaminants from migrating out of this mixture. This stabilized mixture was than disposed of at a nearby landfill.
