1,600 Gallons Of Hazardous Waste Bordered A Residential Area
Investigators estimated this sump at the northwest corner of the refinery site, held more than 1,683 gallons of hazardous waste. The uncovered sump was across the street from residences. The sump had been unguarded for more than a year when the site was investigated in 1995.
