Contracting with the TCEQ to Do Remediation
TCEQ procures remediation contractors through a response to request for qualifications (RFQ) and request for proposal (RFP) packages. The bidder submits a statement of qualifications (SOQ) and a sealed bid. The contract is awarded to qualified proposers whose bid reflects the best value for the state of Texas.
The TCEQ procures and oversees independent contractor services to perform corrective action at a variety of waste sites. Corrective action includes emergency abatement, site investigation, monitoring, remedial action plan (RAP) development, site remediation, system design and installation, and operation and maintenance.

The Remediation Contracting Program is authorized to procure contracts for the purposes of investigation, assessment, and cleanup activities at remediation sites under a variety of state mandates and federal laws.
