List of Public Water Systems Limiting Water Use to Avoid Shortages
Updated monthly, we list all public water systems in Texas that had restrictions in place as of the first of the month.

Map of Water Systems under Water Use Restriction
From the monthly report to the Texas Drought Preparedness Council, you can view a map of Texas displaying the location of public water systems that were enforcing restrictions on water use due to drought or other water shortage as of the first of the current month.

Drought Contingency Plans
Public water systems must have a contingency plan ready in case of drought or similar water shortages.

Water Conservation Programs
See programs that support and encourage the ongoing conservation of water for all uses. Water conservation plans are required under certain water rights.
