Public Comment for the Draft 2006 Texas Water Quality Inventory and 303(d) List
Draft Offered for Public Comment
The TCEQ solicits public comment on the Draft 2006 Texas Water Quality Inventory and 303(d) List. Although the TCEQ will consider all data and information received during the comment period, public comment is particularly solicited regarding the following:

Requirements for Content of Comments
Comments on proposed listings and changes in use attainment must be based on an analysis performed consistent with the TCEQ's 2006 Guidance for Assessing Texas Surface and Finished Drinking Water Quality Data (PDF) and must include summary information demonstrating that the current or proposed listing status is inaccurate, i.e., the water body is now attaining or not attaining the designated use.
All data used for the assessment must be collected under a TCEQ-approved quality assurance protection plan or equivalent quality system to ensure the data are of known and appropriate quality for this use.
Any data or other information supplied to the TCEQ to refute or substantiate current assessments must be submitted in summary format and must be collected using approved TCEQ methods and materials and consistent with TCEQ quality-assurance requirements.
The TCEQ will respond to comments during the prescribed comment period only in the Response to Comments document available on this website. The TCEQ will not respond to comments regarding past assessments or guidance issues excluding changes implemented in 2006.
