Nolan Creek Assessment of Water Quality and Watershed Based Planning
Portions of Nolan Creek and Little Nolan Creek have elevated bacteria concentrations, which impairs their use for swimming and other recreation. The state has also identified concerns about elevated nitrate, total phosphorus, and orthophosphorus concentrations.
The Texas Institute for Applied Environmental Research and its project partners have collected and analyzed water quality data in Nolan Creek and tributaries. The information is being used to develop a WPP for these water bodies.
