Upper Cibolo Creek and Cow Creek Groundwater Conservation Education Initiative
A project to produce a manual and educational materials about stewardship practices, including low impact development.
Background
Rapid urban growth in Kendall County increases the potential for nonpoint sources of bacteria, sediment, and nutrient pollution entering surface and groundwater resources.
Project Description
This project will produce the "Aquifer/Watershed Owner's Manual" and create educational videos on low impact development and other practices that conserve water supplies and water quality. These products will be promoted through workshops, presentations, and websites. They will be made available in a downloadable format.
