A project to produce a manual and educational materials about stewardship practices, including low impact development.

Background

Rapid urban growth in Kendall County increases the potential for nonpoint sources of bacteria, sediment, and nutrient pollution entering surface and groundwater resources.

Project Description

This project produced the "Aquifer/Watershed Stewardship Manual" and created educational videos on rainwater harvesting and other practices that conserve water supplies and water quality. These products have been promoted through workshops, presentations, and websites. They are available in a downloadable format.
