Public Meetings

Meetings about TMDL projects are open to everyone.

April 2, 2014
Lake O' the Pines: At this public meeting, stakeholders will overview and discuss their proposed updates to to the original I-Plan established in 2008. The I-Plan is designed to improve dissolved oxygen levels in the lake through pollution reductions in the watershed.

April 7, 2014
Gilleland Creek: At this public meeting, stakeholders will discuss accomplishments from the third year implementing their plan to improve water quality and what's next in the fourth year.

April 8, 2014
Upper Oyster Creek: At this public meeting, stakeholders will discuss water quality and project status, along with implementation planning for 2014/2015.

April 25, 2014
Corpus Christi Beaches: At this public meeting of the Coordination Committee, members will discuss status of the project and next steps. Time is set aside near the end of the meeting for questions and comments from the public. Anyone interested in the project is encouraged to attend.

San Jacinto River, East and West Forks: At this meeting, the stakeholders will discuss the ground rules and makeup of their project steering committee, accept recommendations for committee members, and discuss the possible need for workgroups that will report to the steering committee.

Oso Creek: At this public meeting, stakeholders in the Oso Creek watershed will hear about and discuss the water quality issues that exist in Oso Creek. The Coastal Bend Bays Foundation is hosting this meeting to kick off the project to improve Oso Creek.
