Controlling NOx Emissions from Cement Kilns

Rules in Title 30, Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 117, for controlling emissions of nitrogen oxides from cement kilns. These rules are part of the State Implementation Plan strategy to meet the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for ozone.

    • long wet kilns
    • long dry kilns
    • preheater kilns
    • preheater-precalciner kilns
    • precalciner kilns
  • Mandatory NOx source cap requirements apply to portland cement kilns in Ellis County.
