  1. Discussion of the Monthly Enforcement Reports for February and March, 2001. Ann McGinley, Enforcement Division presented this issue. No action taken.


  2. Discussion of the Supplemental Environmental Projects (SEP) Program, including an overall review of program performance and issues and consideration of changes to the SEP policy related to percentage offsets available to respondents. Toni Toliver, Litigation/SEP presented this issue. No action taken.


  3. Consideration for approval to publish and to solicit public comment on the Draft Implementation Plan for two TMDLs for sulfate and total dissolved solids in E.V.Spence Reservoir. Julia Rathgeber, SEA, Chuck Mueller, SIP, and Clifton Wise, TMDL presented this issue. The Commission approved publication as requested.


  4. Consideration for approval to publish and to solicit public comment on the Draft Implementation Plan for nine TMDLs for legacy pollutants in streams and a reservoir in Dallas and Tarrant Counties. Julia Rathgeber, SEA, Chuck Mueller, SIP, and Clifton Wise, TMDL presented this issue. The Commission approved publication as requested.


  5. Consideration of legislative issues potentially affecting the TNRCC and actions taken by the Texas Legislature. The commission may also meet in closed meeting to receive legal advice regarding these matters, or any of the above matters, as authorized by Section 551.071 of the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Government Code. Any commission action, decision, or vote on these matters will be made in open meeting in accordance with Section 551.102 of the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Government Code. No action taken on this issue.


  6. Planning for the next Commissioners' Work Session. The June 8 work session is rescheduled for 9:30 a.m. June 12. Issues tentatively identified for discussion or consideration include the TNRCC MOU to codify existing permit application steps with other state agencies, preliminary operating budget for FY02, Guidance for Assessing Texas Surface and Finished Drinking Water and Methodology for Developing the Texas List of Impaired Water Bodies, State Implementation Plan update and the regular standing issues. Also scheduled for June 12 is a joint work session with Texas Department of Public Safety at 1:30 p.m. at their North Lamar Headquarters location. The July 13 work session is rescheduled for July 27.
