# # Data Flag Definitions # Normally located in the .../pdcs/pdb directory # # code, flag text, description,is ambient, priority, promote to average,AIRS reason code,AQS qualifier code, # on menu, menu order, line color, fill color, pattern index # # LEADS/EMS has an 8-BIT flag field attached to each data sample. The high BIT is used to # indicate whether or not the sample has been validated. The remaining 7 BITS are used to # store the actual flag attached to the data. The data flagging allows you to have an # ambient sample, an ambient sample with a reason code attached, or a non-ambient sample # with a reason code attached. Many of the LEADS/EMS flags can be mapped directly to an # equivalent EPA Qualifier Code (for the new AQS format) or an AIRS Reason code (for the # older AIRS format). Some are used only by LEADS/EMS and there is only a general mapping # to EPA flags. # # code - the decimal equivalent of the actual hexadecimal flag applied to a data sample; must # be a unique integer between 0 and 127 (inclusive) # # flag text - the text reported by Manual Validation in menus, printpol in its output, and # various web pages # # description - a brief description of the meaning of the flag; used by Manual Validation # and various web pages # # Is Ambient - a Boolean that indicates where or not the data associated with the flag is # considered ambient or not; non-ambient data is not included in higher averages or other # data summaries or reports; if set to 1, data with this flag is considered ambient; if # set to 0, data with this flag is considered non-ambient # # priority - used to determine what flag to assign to an average when it has less than 75% # of a single flag attached to the samples going into the average; the highest priority wins # # Promote to average - apply flag to derived averages(1) or not(0) # # AIRS reason code - a 4-digit numeric code used in the old-style AIRS reports to indicate # why a sample is not ambient; for any data flagged non-ambient, this code is sent instead # of the actual sample value; this code must match the EPA-generated mapping for the AQS # qualifier code attached to this flag # # AQS qualifier code - codes used by the new AQS format to indicate either Null data (any # data flagged non-ambient), or as a data qualifier; if the invalidate data flag is set to # 1 for a flag, the AQS qualifier code MUST be a Null Data Qualifier code; if the invalidate # data flag is set to 0 for a flag, the AQS qualifier CANNOT be a Null Data Qualifier # # On Menu - Display on the Manual Validation menu(1) or not (0) # # Menu Order - Used to sort items for menu placement; intent is for the menu items to be # in the same order each time so the user does not have to search for the item; sequence # does not have to be contiguous. # # Line Color - RGB value (per web color specification but without the leading pound(#) # character; e.g. ffffff is white) to use for the # outline color. This is the only color used when wind or discrete data is displayed. # # Fill Color - RGB value to use for the fill color. Data with this flag will be displayed # using this as a background color. # # Pattern Index - Integer index into the array of available fill patterns defined in # the Manual Validation color definition file. An index of zero means do not use a pattern. # 0,VAL,Ambient Data,1,0,1,,,1,0,009900,00ff00,0 1,NOL,Not On Line,0,15,1,9987,AU,1,1,999900,ffff00,0 2,SPN,Span Check,0,10,1,9998,BF,1,3,009999,00ffff,0 3,CAL,Calibration,0,11,1,9995,BC,1,4,c3c3ff,0000ff,0 4,LST,Lost,0,1,0,9983,AQ,1,5,990099,ff00ff,0 5,MAL,Malfunction,0,8,1,9978,AL,1,6,ffff00,999900,0 6,LIM,Failed Limit Check,0,5,1,9980,AN,1,7,ff00ff,990099,0 7,QAS,QA Check in Progress,0,7,1,9992,AZ,1,8,00ffff,009999,0 8,PMA,Preventative Maintenance,0,6,1,9993,BA,1,9,00ff00,009900,0 9,AQI,Rejected by Validator,0,13,1,9979,AM,1,10,c3c3ff,000099,0 10,QRE,Failed QA/QC Test,0,12,1,9985,AS,1,11,ff0000,990000,0 11,FEW,Insufficient Samples,0,4,0,9975,AI,1,12,ffffff,999999,0 12,NEG,Failed NEG Test,0,3,0,9979,AM,1,13,999999,ff7d00,0 13,VALR,Cleanup After Major Disaster,1,0,0,,R,1,19,990099,00ff00,3 14,VALQ,Prescribed Burning,1,0,0,,Q,1,18,000099,00ff00,12 15,VALP,Roofing Operations,1,0,0,,P,1,17,009999,00ff00,11 16,VALO,Infrequent Large Gatherings,1,0,0,,O,1,16,009900,00ff00,10 17,VALN,Sanding/Salting of Streets,1,0,0,,N,1,15,999900,00ff00,9 18,VALM,Rerouting of Traffic,1,0,0,,M,1,14,990000,00ff00,8 19,VALL,Highway Construction,1,0,0,,L,1,13,990099,00ff00,7 20,VALK,Agricultural Tilling,1,0,0,,K,1,12,000099,00ff00,6 21,VALJ,Construction/Demolition,1,0,0,,J,1,11,009999,00ff00,5 22,VALI,Unusual Traffic Congestion,1,0,0,,I,1,10,009900,00ff00,4 23,VALH,Chemical Spill or Industrial Accident,1,0,0,,H,1,9,999900,00ff00,3 24,VALG,High Pollen Count,1,0,0,,G,1,8,990000,00ff00,2 25,VALF,Structural Fire,1,0,0,,F,1,7,990099,00ff00,1 26,VALE,Forest Fire,1,0,0,,E,1,6,000099,00ff00,1 27,VALD,Sandblasting,1,0,0,,D,1,5,009999,00ff00,1 28,VALC,Volcanic Eruption,1,0,0,,C,1,4,009900,00ff00,1 29,VALB,Stratospheric Ozone Intrusion,1,0,0,,B,1,3,999900,00ff00,1 30,VALA,High Winds,1,0,0,,A,1,2,990000,00ff00,1 31,MUL,Failed MUL Test,0,2,0,9979,AM,1,14,999999,ff0000,0 32,BLAN,Blank Sample,0,0,0,9979,AM,1,15,ffffff,cccccc,0 33,AUDI,Audit Sample,0,0,0,9979,AM,1,16,ff0099,00ff99,0 34,5PPB,5 ppb-V Unblended Standard Check,0,0,0,9979,AM,1,17,ff00ff,ffff99,0 35,EXP_,Experimental or Bad Sample,0,0,0,9979,AM,1,18,ffff99,99ff99,0 36,RT_S,Standard Sample,0,0,0,9979,AM,1,19,ff9999,99ff99,0 37,SPZ,Span-Zero Check,0,9,1,9998,BF,1,2,009999,00ffff,3 38,ARC,GC Acetylene Response Check,0,0,0,9979,AM,1,20,999999,ffc0c0,0 39,CACS,GC Compressed Air Comp Sample,0,0,0,9979,AM,1,21,999999,ff80c0,3 40,DCSD,GC Daily Cal Check Stand Dup,0,0,0,9979,AM,1,22,c3c3ff,808040,0 41,DLA,GC Delection Limit Analysis,0,0,0,9979,AM,1,23,999999,ff8040,0 42,RAS,GC Radian Audit Sample,0,0,0,9979,AM,1,24,999999,e67300,1 43,UNK,GC Unknown Flag in File,0,0,0,9979,AM,1,25,ffffff,000000,0 44,NOD,Not Detected,0,14,1,,AM,1,26,404040,202020,0 45,BDL,Below Detection Limit,1,0,0,,MD,1,23,ff9900,404040,0 46,ALNR,Above Linear Range,1,0,0,,EH,1,24,0080ff,404040,0 47,ZERO,Neg Value Detected - Zero Reported,1,0,0,,9,1,1,009900,00ff00,0 48,VALS,Seismic Activity,1,0,0,,S,1,20,663300,cc9966,0 49,VALU,Sahara Dust,1,0,0,,U,1,21,666600,999900,0 50,VALZ,Other Event,1,0,0,,Z,1,22,660066,cc66cc,0 51,LOWF,Low Flow,1,25,1,,AH,1,27,000000,660033,0
