Applications Now Open for the 2027 Texas Environmental Excellence Awards!

July 2026—TCEQ is now accepting applications for the 2027 Texas Environmental Excellence Awards (TEEA) through Friday, Aug. 28, 2026.

About TEEA

TEEA is an annual awards program that honors achievements in environmental preservation and protection by citizens, communities, businesses, and organizations throughout Texas. The awards are presented across 10 categories, including Agriculture, Pollution Prevention, Civic and Community, and Water Conservation. See all award categories on the TEEA webpage.

Winners in the Educator of the Year and Youth categories receive a $2,500 prize, generously sponsored by Waste Management of Texas.

If you know of a great environmental leader or project, now is the time to nominate them!

Training - Continuing Education (CE) Credit
Not all listed training is approved for TCEQ Occupational Licensing Continuing Education (CE) credit. Please contact the training provider, EPA or EPA subcontractor offering the training to verify if the course(s) can be used toward CE credits for renewing a TCEQ occupational license.
