Free EPA Technical Assistance Webinar Series: Practical Sampling and Flow Measurement Tips for Wastewater Operators
February 2026—The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is providing a FREE webinar for owners and operators of publicly owned treatment works with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits.
Technical assistance staff will focus on sampling and flow measurement techniques at wastewater treatment plants. This presentation will address the critical aspects of when, where, what, and how sampling and measurements should be conducted, ensuring precision and reliability. This webinar series can help wastewater operators troubleshoot common issues they face and provide suggestions and resources to help fine-tune operations and fix noncompliance problems.
Note: Not all training is approved for TCEQ Occupational Licensing Continuing Education (CE) credit. Contact the training provider, EPA, or EPA subcontractor offering the training to verify if the course can count toward CE credits for renewing a TCEQ occupational license.
