Stakeholder Meeting Scheduled for the Renewal of the Stormwater Multi-Sector General Permit No. TXR050000

Oct. 2019 – The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has begun the renewal process for the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) for industrial facilities, TXR050000, which expires on Aug. 14, 2021.

As part of the renewal process, TCEQ will hold a public meeting to give an overview of the renewal process, present preliminary proposed changes to the general permit, and welcome input from permittees and stakeholders.

TCEQ will acknowledge webcast viewers during the opening introductions. Before the webcast begins on October 18, all webcast viewers need to e-mail outreach@tceq.texas.gov. The email should include the viewer’s first and last name, as well as the company being represented. Interested parties may also email outreach@tceq.texas.gov to submit questions or comments before and during the meeting.
