Additional requirements in the federal rule will not be effective in Texas until they are formally adopted into the state regulations.

Information about the new pharmaceutical rule and a pre-publication version of the rule is available on the EPA websiteExit the TCEQ. The EPA has scheduled two webinars to discuss the contents of the final rule. The webinars, which are free and open to the public, are scheduled for 1 p.m. EST on the following dates:
•    Wednesday, January 9
•    Wednesday, January 23

Both webinars will be the same, with a one-hour general presentation about the final rule, followed by a 30-minute question and answer session. To register to attend one of the webinars, visit the EPA webinar registration pageExit the TCEQ.
