After-Hours Reporting: A Pilot

This page contains information on how to report complaints after-hours.

Need to report an environmental problem outside of standard business hours?

You may call our toll-free hot line at 1-888/777-3186. Staff will be available statewide to help you—day or night, seven days a week.

You may call your regional office any time, too, and:

  • leave a message, which agency staff will receive the next working day, or
  • be directed by voice message to the hot-line number.

TCEQ began offering after-hours options in January, as part of a pilot project. The results will help us determine how best to serve you after hours.
