Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

Oct. 12, 2021 - Conversations with Ramiro Garcia, Jr., Marie Gomez, and Maria Sifuentes-Chavez

By Aaron Gallup, Riky Cruz, and Randall Maxwell, TCEQ External Relations

TCEQ recognizes Hispanic Heritage Month to celebrate the successes and achievements of TCEQ employees of Hispanic heritage. Throughout the coming month, we are highlighting three agency employees and their personal stories. Learn about their family heritage, how their experiences shaped who they are today, what cultural influences they learned from their parents (and now share with their children), and how their heritage and background influence and benefit their work at TCEQ.

First learn about Ramiro Garcia, Jr., TCEQ Deputy Executive Director.
