TCEQ Approves Fines Totaling $330,267

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $236,618 against 17 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.

Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: three air quality, two industrial wastewater discharge, two multimedia, one municipal solid waste, one municipal wastewater discharge, four petroleum storage tank, two public water system, one water quality.

One default order was issued for the following enforcement category: municipal solid waste.

In addition, on July 11 and 18, the executive director approved a total of 56 penalties, totaling $93,649.
