TCEQ Approves Fines Totaling $367,017

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $269,469 against 24 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.

Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: four air quality, three multimedia, one municipal wastewater discharge, four petroleum storage tank, seven public water system, and three water quality.

Default orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: one petroleum storage tank and one water quality.

In addition, on Sept. 26, the executive director approved a total of 36 penalties, totaling $97,548.
