TCEQ Approves Fines Totaling $500,434

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $346,750 against 24 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.

Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: one water quality three air quality, one multimedia, two municipal solid waste, four municipal wastewater discharge, three petroleum storage tank, and three public water system.

Default orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: two multimedia, one municipal solid waste, one municipal wastewater discharge, two petroleum storage tank, and one public water system.

In addition, on Nov. 28 and Dec. 5, the executive director approved a total of 65 penalties, totaling $153,684.
