Nolan Creek: Watershed Based Planning and Assessment

A project to conduct water quality data collection and analysis to characterize the creek and provide a basis for developing a watershed action strategy if appropriate.

Nolan Creek was first listed on the 303(d) List for elevated bacteria concentrations in 1996. In 2010, TCEQ determined that water quality standards for this water body would be reviewed before a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) is scheduled. Concerns for nitrate and phosphorus in Nolan Creek were also noted in the 2010 Texas Water Quality Inventory.
