Dry Creek Recreational Use Attainability Assessment (RUAA) Informational Meeting

The Texas Institute for Applied Environmental Research (TIAER) will hold a public meeting May 20, 2026 from 5:30 - 7PM at Northeast Texas Community College Culinary Arts Classroom 114 Jefferson St Pittsburg, Texas regarding the upcoming Recreational Use Attainability Analysis (RUAA) for Dry Creek in the Cypress Creek Basin. An RUAA is a study used by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to determine the appropriate recreational use category for a water body. At this meeting, you will have the opportunity to learn about the project and provide firsthand knowledge of historical and existing recreational uses of Dry Creek.
