Office of the Chief Clerk (OCC)
The OCC issues notices of applications, public hearings, and public meetings. OCC also prepares the commission agendas, transmits final decision documents to applicants and other parties, and maintains the official records of pending commission proceedings.
OCC's interaction with the Air Permits Division consists of the following:
- OCC receives a copy of all required permit, amendment, renewal, and standard permit public notices. If any comments are received in response to the public notice and a Response to Comment (RTC) is required, the Environmental Law Division (ELD) staff attorney files the RTC with OCC.
- All formal public comments, public meeting, and hearing requests must be submitted to OCC. OCC then logs the comment and forwards copies of these documents to the ELD and the Air Permits Division.
- Rules and standard permits ready for proposal are filed with OCC when they are scheduled for the Commissioners' Agenda.
