Technical Review and Oversight
The Technical Review and Oversight Team, in the Plan and Technical Review Section, helps public water systems comply with TCEQ rules.
Surveillance & Technical Assistance
The Technical Review and Oversight Team (TROT) provides technical assistance to the public, TCEQ staff, and other state agencies. TROT reviews sanitary surveys of PWS systems to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. TROT also addresses plumbing issues for PWS systems, such as backflow prevention and cross-connection control.
Surface Plant Evaluation
TROT uses the Surface Plant Evaluation Program to review complex engineering and disinfection protocols by analyzing concentration time studies (CT Studies) filed by the state's surface water treament plants. TROT also actively participates in the Texas Optimization Program (TOP) .
