Study on Effects of Installation, Operation, Removal, and Disposal of certain equipment

The TCEQ, in coordination with consulting agencies and stakeholders, is conducting a study of the effects of the installation, operation, removal, and disposal of solar, wind turbine, and energy storage equipment.

This study was requested by Senate Bill 1290 of the 88th Legislature. TCEQ has entered into an agreement with the University of Texas Bureau of Economic Geology to study and draft a report to legislature.
