Your vehicle must also meet these conditions:
• Failed an emissions test within 30 days of submitting your application. • Registered in your participating county area for at least 12 of the 15 months preceding your application, and • Passed the safety portion of the DPS motor-vehicle safety and emissions inspection, and driven under its own power to the inspection station.

If you meet the above requirements, you will receive voucher worth up to $600 for emissions-related repairs or retrofits performed at a participating Texas Department of Public Safety Recognized Emissions Repair Facility, including diagnostics performed on your vehicle. Repairs are not authorized until you receive a voucher and the participating repair facility receives approval from the program administrator. The participating repair facility will be paid directly by the program administrator.

Note: If you are eligible, you MUST use one of the participating facilities on the list you will receive from the program administrator. Repairs performed before the voucher has been issued or at repair facilities that are not participating in the program will not be paid.
