Water Rights Advisory Work Group
The Water Rights Advisory Work Group (WRAWG) is a voluntary group of participants who meet quarterly to discuss water rights related issues. The advisory group provides the TCEQ with expanded knowledge and resources to help with the water rights permitting process.
Participating in the Water Rights Advisory Group
The group is open to the public. Anyone who is interested in water rights related issues may attend and participate in meetings. If you are unable to attend, meetings are available live by webcast at the link below. Previous meetings are archived at this site as well. See live and archived webcasts .

Revisions to Water Right Application Forms
Revisions to the Water Rights Application Forms – Seeking Stakeholder Input
The Water Availability Division has completed draft revisions to the Water Rights Application Documents. The new Application consists of:
Administrative Information Report - Requests required information about applicants. Required for all applications.
Technical Information Report –Asks applicants a series of questions about their request for a new or amended water right and directs the applicant to attached technical Worksheets depending on the request.
Instructions – Provides information to Applicants about how to complete the Reports and Worksheets including background information, citations, and examples.

Please note that the Draft Revised Application Documents are for new and amended water rights and for bed and banks authorizations, Staff has not completed revisions to other application forms at this time (ex. Abandonment, Temporary Permits, etc.)
Staff is seeking comments and suggestions on the Draft Revised Documents. See below for Instructions on how to provide comments.

The deadline to provide comments on the draft revised application documents has been extended to March 17, 2017.
Provide comments by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org - put "Comments on Draft Revised Application Documents" in the subject line of your message.
Attach redlined versions of the Revised Application Documents to the email if you have any.
