| TCEQ Recommendations | A site-specific recreational use of secondary contact recreation 1 (geometric mean of 630 E. coli per 100 ml) was proposed for Brickhouse Gully/Bayou, 1017A, and two unnamed tribuaries of Whiteoak Bayou, 1017D and 1017E, in the revisions to the Texas Surface Water Quality Standards. The commission adopted revisions to the Standards on June 30, 2010. The remainder of the water bodies will retain a primary contact recreation use with a geometric mean 126 of E. coli per 100 ml. |
