Policy:   

This exemption covers woodworking shops, but is not worded
properly as consistent with the purpose of the original
exemption.  

Background:   

This exemption was developed to cover both commercial
woodworking shops and woodworking shops for instructional
purposes.  If a facility is a commercial woodworking shop,
then it must meet both conditions (a) (1) or (a)(2) and (b). 
A school woodworking shop would have to meet condition (c)
only. 

Necessary Action:  

The wording will be changed at the next standard exemption
modification to Regulation VI.
